Research-driven strategy for building what matters

I combine doctoral-level research rigor with founder-level execution and a career spent at the intersection of research, strategy, and execution

The earliest stage of any new idea is the hardest to navigate: before anyone knows what questions to ask, before the market has taken shape, and before there's a clear direction to build toward. That's where I do my best work. I turn what no one yet understands into something an organization can act on.

In practice, that means leading research initiatives, driving 0-to-1 opportunity identification, moving from synthesis to strategic recommendation, and building the operational infrastructure to make it real, all without losing the thread.

That foundation runs through everything I've done. At an AI-focused venture studio, I built the research and discovery engine that shaped which ideas were worth building and why. Before that, I co-founded a deep tech space startup, led strategy and operations, and closed a multi-million-dollar seed round. Earlier, I held senior strategy and analytics roles at global organizations, building the measurement frameworks and research systems that informed decisions at scale.

I hold a PhD in entrepreneurial learning and conduct ongoing research on entrepreneurs and the ecosystems that support them. After nearly a decade working across the African continent, I remain actively engaged in the region through research, publication, and supervision of entrepreneurship-focused PhD and MBA students. My academic work examines how entrepreneurs learn, grow, and build capabilities within complex, resource-constrained environments.
